8th Grade Olympian Team

  • 8th grade is the bridge to high school. As a team we foster student growth both intellectually and academically. Students will continue to develop responsibility, ownership, and independence.
  • The 8th grade team consists of five main academic disciplines: Mathematics, Science, Language Arts, Reading, and Social Studies.
  • The structure of the interdisciplinary team allows for close and timely monitoring of progress and achievement based on student data.

  • February - High School Recommendations
  • May - IL and US Constitution Tests
  • December and May - Algebra High School Placement Tests
  • June - 8th Grade Graduation
  • June - PTA-sponsored Graduation Party
