Encore Team

Middle school students are entering an exciting period of transition and exploration. Through new experiences students develop individual interests and talents while seeking opportunities to express themselves.

The Encore team strives to create an environment that will excite and engage students by providing hands-on learning that will nurture multiple intelligences and individual strengths. Our focus will be in the performing and visual arts, family consumer science, foreign language, computer applications, and applied technology.

Encore Events:

  • Recognition breakfast held every trimester
  • Students participate in the National French Contest
  • Students Participate in the National Spanish Exam
  • 8th Grade FCS students prepare and host a breakfast at the end of each trimester
  • Drama class students perform at the end of each trimester
  • Applied Tech students create and test their dragsters and towers
  • 8th Grade foreign language students experience authentic cultural dining at French or Spanish restaurants
